Every Stall Counts

The South Dakota State Fair Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the “Every Stall Counts” fundraising campaign to purchase 350 new portable horse stalls for the Fairgrounds. 

The fundraising goal for the project is $500,000. 

The project will build on the success of the DEX by improving the aging Hippodrome stalls and increasing portable stall capacity for larger national events. The new stalls will enhance safety, usability, and flexibility for animals, contestants, and events. A sample stall will be set up at the South Dakota State Fair near the North Arena. 

The campaign is receiving a significant boost through a matching challenge from the William Mibra & Byrne Griffith Foundation. Every dollar donated to the campaign will be matched, up to $100,000, doubling the impact of contributions made toward the project. 

A variety of donor levels and recognition opportunities are available through the campaign, allowing individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to participate. Donors may also choose to spread pledge payments over two years, offering flexibility for those who wish to contribute over time. All donations are tax-deductible.
