Momentum Refresh
Accessible Mobile Restroom & Universal Changing Space
The South Dakota State Fair is proud to announce a major step forward in accessibility and inclusion by bringing Momentum Refresh to the State Fair in 2026. Momentum Refresh is the first universally designed, fully accessible and ADA-compliant+ mobile restroom and universal changing space in the United States.
Momentum Refresh sets a new standard for accessibility by offering features specifically designed for people with disabilities, veterans, aging adults and seniors, families, and others with limited mobility or personal caregiving needs. The restroom includes:
- Powered, height-adjustable adult size changing table
- Overhead ceiling hoist for safe transfers
- Peninsular toilet with bidet including adjustable grab bars
- Powered, height-adjustable sink
- Under-vehicle accessibility lift (UVL) for ease of access
- Climate controlled – A/C, heat, full ventilation
- Adequate personal caregiver space
- Attendant staff for safety, assistance and continuous cleaning
Momentum Refresh will be available daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Wednesday through Sunday and 10:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday on the West side of the Expo Building.
