Jodi Culliney -"Love, South Dakota Style", Guest Author

Jodi Culliney is the author of the "Love, South Dakota Style" series. Filled with complicated characters, her heartfelt stories are told with emotional depth in the warmth of small town life. Growing up on a farm in South Dakota, miles away from the nearest town, allowed for plenty of opportunities for her to make up stories in her head. Hooked at a far too early age on Judith McNaught novels, frequent trips to the library, and intermittent visits to the bookstore even farther away, kept her in a steady stream of beloved romance novels and mystery books.

She has lived for over twenty years in Brooklyn, but will never let go of her small town roots, where much of her family still resides. She thrills in writing about small town love, but also appreciates finding love in other places, like a big city, or on a train crossing the country, and maybe even in another country. Even though her books are a series, she never quite knows where they will take her next.

When not creating her romantic world, she bakes, travels the world with her husband, answers to a house full of cats, and watches as much British TV as time allows.

A former bookstore clerk and lifelong lover of books, Jodi lived a peaceful existence in South Dakota until she met the love of her life and made the move to Brooklyn, NY. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Black Hills State University and is working on her next novel.
