Todd and Mike
Todd Casilli was born and raised in Somerset, Massachusetts. He started playing music in high school with the band “Bob’s Day Off”, after recording an EP in 1993 the band went on to play an average of 340 shows a year until the band broke up in 2006. Todd then took a break from playing music until Covid hit. He moved his family to Humboldt, SD from Massachusetts in 2022 and began door knocking until he got some gigs lined up. His first gig was in Montrose SD where he met Mike Marquardt. Mike started showing up at some of Todds performances, intrigued with Todds style of music and they exchanged contact info.
Mike Marquardt was born and raised in Canistota, SD. He started playing music in high school in the mid 1970’s with his families band “Ron & Kathy and the Country Kickers.” In 2000 the “Battlecreek Station Band” was formed with his brothers and friends. That band went on for nearly 20 years playing country and southern rock to many fans. Mike was inducted into the Legends of South Dakota Country Music Association in 2014. Todd invited Mike to play a few shows with him and the different genres combined were a hit to say the least.
Both artists coming from very different backgrounds and decades have a musical chemistry like no other. Todd, the city boy and Mike, the farm boy have teamed up to make a dynamic duo with killer performances. They learn from each other and feed off each other and have become great friends with a huge fan base.
