This year’s keynote speaker is SDDVA Secretary Jeremiah Schneider
SDDVA Secretary Jeremiah Schneider was born and raised in Wentworth, South Dakota and joined the Navy in May 1995, He served on active-duty until May 2000.
In 2011 he joined the Naval Reserves where he was attached to OHSU Bremerton and mobilized to Afghanistan as CSE Team Husker Corpsman. In 2019 HMC Schneider deployed to Afghanistan filling a NATO billet as the CJOC PECC Chief working with partner nations ensuring MEDROE compliance and asset allocation throughout the Afghanistan Theatre.
In March 2020, HMC Schneider was selected as Senior Enlisted Leader for the 1st Civil Affairs Group MARFORRES, Camp Pendleton where he served until June 2023. In June 2023 he was selected as the Southern Regional Senior Enlisted Leader for NMRTC Portsmouth.
Currently Master Chief Schneider serves as the Deputy Senior Enlisted Leader for Expeditionary Medical Facility Camp Pendleton.
His personnel awards include the Navy Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon. Senior Chief Schneider is Seabee Combat Warfare qualified.
Master Chief Schneider is married with four children and currently resides in southeastern South Dakota.
