Blossoms, Not Just a Pretty Face
Presented by: John McEnelly, Retired Teacher, Gifted K-12 Chemistry, Phys. Sci, Bio, Earth Sci, MS Natural Science, Huron, SD
Blossoms are the basis for reproduction and future generations of plants and flowers. From a collaborative effort with Sandi Ransom while teaching at Wolsey-Wessington we developed an interactive lab session to learn the parts and purpose of the anther, stigma and ovary play in pollination for future generations. Come prepared to learn by dissecting a flower blossom first-hand.
