All About Trees! "The Tree Guys!"

Tree Identification, Diseases, Best Types of trees for each purpose, watering, planting and managing them.  A FEATURE THIS YEAR WILL BE THE PLANTING OF A TREES.

The interactive session will cover the most common ‘dos and “don’ts” of tree care.  We will discuss basic pruning of young trees and shrubs and the tools to use.  Time will also be given to discuss fruit tree pruning.  Planting care and tree selection are also key topics for the afternoon.  So whether you want to know how to prune, water, fertilize or plant a tree or shrub, this session is for you!!  See you there for this fun filled conversation!!!  A site close to the Horticulture Building will be chosen to demonstrate the proper methods for planting trees.  OPEN TO ALL STATE FAIR ATTENDEES.
