Live Tomato Judging sponsored by SD Corn

Presented by: Marty Christian, Assistant Horticulture Superintendent and Special Guest Judge

All tomatoes will be evaluated by visual inspection and taste.  Scores will be combined for final placing score.

Division 2 – Vegetables; pg 13. Class 54, 55, 56 and 57.  An extra specimen for each of these classes will be entered into and used for tasting by the judge to make the final selection of premium awards.  First place in each class will receive an additional premium of $10 and second place will receive an additional $5.  Overall best Tomato entry of these 4 classes will receive an additional $20 premium.  This will involve live judging with oral reasons.  Extra premiums are courtesy of South Dakota Corn.
