Christina Schepker-Pikul

Christina Lynne is the author of 13 Miles North, Cecil’s Story, and The Rusty Kitten.  These are heartfelt novels inspired by personal loss, resilience, and rediscovery. Christina grew up in small town South Dakota. She currently resides in Aurora, South Dakota with her husband, and a variety of pets.

A lifelong storyteller, Christina’s writing journey began with early encouragement from teachers but was delayed by life’s practical demands. After years in the corporate world and personal upheaval—including divorce, career shifts, and the loss of her best friend—Christina rediscovered her voice through faith, healing, and the support of her community.

Her debut novel, 13 Miles North, was a cathartic tribute and marked the beginning of a renewed passion for storytelling. Christina now writes with purpose and authenticity, creating emotionally resonant stories for readers seeking hope, healing, and a touch of real-life magic.  If you enjoy simply worded stories with heart and twists, 13 Miles and Cecil are for you.

The Rusty Kitten is a Christian Children's book about a little kitten who is "built a bit different", and goes through many trials before finding her forever home.Christina currently has two more books in progress, which she hopes to have published by the end of 2025. Both will be related to the 13 Miles North stories.
