Senior Building Maintenance Position - Full Time

The SD State Fair is seeking a skilled individual for a full-time Senior Building Maintenance position. Knowledge of the methods and practices of general building and facility maintenance is ideal. Candidate must have good communication skills, complete tasks promptly, can lift 50 lbs or more, and successfully direct the activities of others. A valid driver's license is required. Work occasional evenings and weekends and extended work hours pre-State Fair, during, and post-State Fair will be expected. Rate of pay will range from $16.26 to $20.32 depending on skills and experience. Excellent benefits package:

Be part of the SD State Fair Grandstand ticket sales team! 
The State Fair is seeking seasonal ticket sellers from June through State Fair, or late August through the State Fair.  Ticket sellers will be trained and must learn the State Fair ticketing sales program.  General computer skills are necessary, as well as excellent customer service skills.  Assisting in State Fair office as necessary is also part of the fun. Seasonal Maintenance Worker 
The SD State Fair is seeking seasonal Maintenance Workers to provide physical labor on a variety of routine building and grounds maintenance projects including:
- General maintenance and repairs of State Fair facilities, grounds, and equipment
- Preparation of grounds and facilities for special events, including set-ups and teardowns
- Manure disposal including cleaning of stalls and livestock pens
- Garbage detail and emptying of trash barrels
- Use of power tools, skid loader, forklifts, etc.

A valid driver's license is preferred but not required. This position is from May through October generally Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm but does require some weekends with extended work hours before, during, and after the annual State Fair. $14 per hour.

Open positions include: Maintenance, gate, beer, restroom and building attendants, shuttle crew, and security (civilian and uniform). Hours vary, pay rate varies.
