Seeking Volunteers
Last year the state fair had a group of volunteers that were just awesome! They helped us in the grandstand, assisted families with wristbands and kids at the gates, answered questions, and gave directions--they were everywhere and they had tons of fun! One of our top goals for the 2008 fair is to increase the volunteer base. Whether you can volunteer for an hour or an entire full five days, there is always room for a great volunteer!

Become a volunteer...There is a place for you!
Gate Greeters: Work at the gates to welcome all fairgoers to the Fair, while handing out schedules and maps. You would also have the information to help with questions that fairgoers might have.

Information Booth: Work in the information booth and answer various questions that fairgoers may have. Worried about not knowing the answer? Don't be; information will be given to you to assist in answering fairgoers questions.

Grandstand Usher: Work at grandstand events all week helping ticketholders find their seats. Training will be provided to get you more familiar with the different seating areas in the grandstand.
