Live Shark Encounters

Haai, Inc. welcomes you to their world of the Shark!!! “Haai”, shark in Dutch, is a fulfillment of a dream for both Marco and Philip who retired several years ago from their dare-devil stunts on the Ringling Brothers Circus. As young boys they were fascinated by sharks and dreamed of having the first traveling live shark show. For years they studied, researched and experimented with the intricate filtration system that is used for the traveling 7000 gallon saltwater tank.

This exhibit is on display allowing the public to view the many different items pertaining to sharks.

They will see:

Shark teeth
Shark jaws of different sizes
Photos and posters of many different species and
Information on sharks

The show time is announced and once seated the lights will dim and the TV screen above the shark tank will give an introduction on the world of the sharks. As this finishes, the famous “JAWS” music will start as the hydraulic door to the 7000 gallon tank will slowly rise with smoke billowing out below. As the smoke clears, they will see several species of sharks swimming around in the tank. The music will lower and the announcer will give some educational material and then a diver enters the tank. After watching the sharks for any aggressive behavior, the diver will cautiously come in close contact with the animal that elicits more fear and fascination than any other creature in the sea.

During the time the diver is in the tank our announcer is giving information on sharks and explaining the actions of the diver.

As the show concludes the audience is invited to come down for a close up view of the sharks and our staff will be on hand to answer any questions the public may have.
