The attached picture is of my grandparents, George and Elizabeth (Rohn) Waeckerle a year before their marriage. The poster on the horseless carriage says "Seeing State Fair 1910 Huron S.D." They were married on August 30, 1911. "Pa" passed away in 1965 (I beleive) and "Ma" passed away in Sept. 1971. "Pa" worked for the County road department. They had 3 daughters, all born and raised in Huron. Irene (Chalmer) Polly, Elynore (Renn) Kinsman, and Inez (Harry Baseley, K.C. Hagerman). Only Inez (my mother) survives.
